New To Archery?

Welcome to our page and I hope you get the chance to try Archery.

If you want to try archery, here are some things you will need to know:

  • Book in to one of our 'Intro to Archery' classes, it is so much fun. Click here for info
  • It is really important you attend our 'Intro to Archery Class' before you buy a bow as safety is vital and we can teach you all you need to know to get started.  You can book a class with other people (class of 7) or you can book a one on one session if that makes you feel more comfortable.  Both are fun.
  • Come on in to the shop and see some bows and equipment, our amazing staff will help you decide what suits you and we will fit a bow that suits your budget and physical requirements.
  • You do not need to be Gym fit to shoot a bow, archery gear can be fitted to any level of fitness.
  • We stock entry level bows, mid range bows and high end bows for all ages and styles
  • Archery is either a sport for one person or a family sport where everyone can shoot
  • We can get you involved at our friendly local club Archery Club
  • You can shoot recurve, longbow or compound bows
  • You can try Target Archery similar to what you see at the Olympics in an open flat area - see our links page for a list of clubs
  • You can try Field Archery which are targets placed throughout lovely bush and forest - see our links page for a list of clubs
  • You can shoot on your own property as long as it is safe - ask us for advise
  • You can take up hunting again, ask us for advise
  • Competition Archery - You can compete at a novice level, club level, national level or world level
